Let’s be honest, exercise isn’t a whole lot of fun. Certainly, there are many people who live to exercise and thoroughly enjoy themselves when they do, but as for the rest of us, it can be a real struggle to find the motivation. If you are especially lazy and yet you want to look and feel your best, then this is the article for you. We’re going to share some tips on how to get enough exercise with the minimal amount of effort!

1. Something is better than nothing

Remember that some exercise is better than no exercise – no matter how small. So, stick to small reps such as 10’s. Start out with 10 push-ups and 10 sit-ups every day. It really won’t require all that much effort, nor will it take up too much of your time. Over time, you’ll notice a positive impact.

2. Go for a little walk

If the thought of jogging for 30-minutes every day terrifies you, you can go for a little walk instead. Just 20-minutes strolling is more than achievable and it will get the heart pumping and the blood flowing. Listen to a podcast or some music and explore your local neighbourhood.

3. Workout during adverts and whenever you have time to kill

When you have a few minutes of adverts on the television, or perhaps you are waiting in the lobby to play an online game – take the opportunity to do a few squats or some push-ups. You don’t have to overly exert yourself, but rather than sitting and staring at the screen, you can take advantage of the time and put it to good use.

4. Set achievable goals and reward yourself

Try and do a little bit more each week. Set the bar low by all means, but aim to do as much as you can be bothered to do and then reward yourself for it. You can enjoy a nice takeaway on the weekend, and you’ll enjoy it all the more if you know that you’ve done some exercise to earn it.

5. Have sex and masturbate more often

Who said exercise had to be entirely boring? In fact, the simple act of having sex or masturbating is a great and fun way to burn some of those calories. Shop for sex toys online and spice up your self-pleasure sessions! Not only will it help you burn some calories, but it comes with a host of other amazing benefits as well.

6. Go swimming

Swimming is a great form of exercise which is actually quite a lot of fun. Whether you join your local life centre or head to the beach, swimming at least once a week is a great way of getting in that extra bit of exercise without putting too much strain on your body.

It starts in the kitchen

While exercise is important, getting healthy and in shape starts in the kitchen. If you aren’t big on cooking, there are so many simple and easy dishes that can cost you very little in terms of time and financial investment. Cut out some of the junk food and start eating nutritious wholefoods throughout the week. Again, you can reward yourself on the weekend with a cheat day, so long as you’ve made some effort during the week to earn it.
