Waitomo Caves

Waitomo Caves are a fabulous place to visit and they are located in the Waitomo Village.  There is plenty of luxury accommodation within walking distance of the caves and you can also try Black Water Rafting, ride horses, go hiking, and visit the Waitomo museum, and the information centre.

Queenstown Wine Trail

The Queenstown Wine Trail is a 7 hour day trip where you can spend your day touring beautiful scenery, sampling amazing wine, locally made cheese and indulging in fabulous food.  You can also learn the history of wine making in the Central Otega wine region.  The most popular wine in the area is the Pinot Noir, but you can also get fabulous samples of Riesling, Pinot Gris Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. Milford Sound

Milford Sound is on the west coast of the South Island of New Zealand.  The natural beauty of this area will take your breath away.  There are stunning mountain ranges, 1000 meter high waterfalls, striking fjords contrasting with dark water.  You can take a helicopter ride over the area to see it from a bird’s eye view.  It is also a great area for hiking and you can have a picnic lunch with the glorious scenery as your backdrop. Cruising the Coastline

New Zealand has over 15,000 kilometers of coastline and exploring the country by boat is a great option.  You can catch cruises from Australia, the South Pacific, or Round the World Cruises.  The layout of New Zealand makes it an ideal place for cruising because it is only one day sailing between major points of interest. Nelson, at the top of the South Island is easy to access by sea, and there are lots of great things to do here. Auckland has many fascinating and beautiful places for people to visit on shore excursions.  You can visit rainforests, hiking trails, volcanic cones, and stunning beaches and bays.  The Bay of Islands is another place that is great for cruising and you can visit a new island each day.  You can ride on a large cruise ship and or take a cruise on a more exclusive cruise that has very few people and individualized staff for each couple on the boat.
