So I once again had the pleasure of working at the Food Network’s South Beach Wine and Food Festival. They put on the event annually and it attracts foodies, winos and everyone in between who loves to feast and drink.
There is a remarkably high number of beautiful women in attendance as the event checks off everything in most girls’ “best day ever” list- gourmet food, premium wine, the beach and a venue to show off their clothes, fake tits and bonnets.
For me, the event offers a well paying job, a VIP pass to the event (tickets cost $250/day!), unlimited alcohol (worked for the Miami Cocktail Company) more food than I can even stuff down my gullet and a great time.
Besides almost every wine, beer and premium liquor brand you can imagine, there are actually a lot of celebrity chefs and personalities who give presentations including Anthony Bourdain, Bobby Flay, Paula Deen, Guy Fieri, Rachael Ray, Marc Summers (fuck yea Double Dare), Emeril and everyone’s favorite pleasantly plump non-gay gay man, Andrew Zimmern (see pic below).
The event is held every February and is set up directly on the beach under a series of massive tents. If you got a little loot, love eating and drinking, then it is definitely worth the money. Check out some of my pics from the event.
